Roots & Origin
In December 2005, Zhang Xingang, the founder of ROCKBROS, founded Yixing Cycling Club in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province.
2007
Sichuan-Tibet Journey
David Zhang completed the epic Sichuan-Tibet Highway ride (2,200 km, crossing 14 mountain passes above 4,000m) — the spiritual wellspring of the ROCKBROS brand and the ROAD TO SKY series.
2010
Brand Founded
On March 18, 2010, Yiwu Rock Sports Goods Co.,Ltd. was registered and established, and the ROCKBROS brand trademark was registered.
2011
E-Commerce Launch
In February, 2011, the company moved to No. 141 Huangyuan Road, Yiwu. With 6 employees,ROCKBROS began to enter the domestic B2C business
2012
Tmall Debut
In July 2012, the company moved to e-Park, No. 2, Danchen 1st Road, Yiwu City. In the same year, Tmall ROCKBROS Sports Outdoor Store began to operate.
2013
Going Global
In 2013, ROCKBROS brand began global sales. Hangzhou Lingku E-commerce Co., Ltd. was established.
2014
Charity: Sichuan-Tibet
The first Sichuan-Tibet Graduation Ride was launched, helping 6 university students fulfill their dream of riding the 318 National Highway. The initiative has continued for 13 consecutive years, covering nearly 100 universities nationwide.
2015
Overseas Expansion
In 2015, ROCKBROS invested in the new factory of chebilu, Zhongshan, and invested in the establishment of a Japanese branch (Jilu, Japan) and a German branch (Oder, Frankfurt, Germany) and form a B2B team.
2016
Red Star Design Award
In 2016, A new cycling bag won the highest design award in China - Red Star Design Award. ROCKBROS also get the title of Yiwu E-commerce model company.
2017
iF Design Award
In 2017, the innovative design of the magic beam lamp won the German iF Design Award.It is the first time of ROCKBROS to participate in the most influential German EUROBIK Exhibition in this industry.
2018
Pan'an Supply Chain
In 2018, Zhejiang Pan'an invested and founded Zhejiang CBR Outdoor products Co., Ltd. to develop and produce a full range of waterproof bag product lines. In the same year, it was honored as one of the top ten overseas brands in Aliexpress.
2019
Shenzhen Chapter
In 2019, Shenzhen Lingku Sports Outdoor Products Co., Ltd. was established. ROCKBROS won the annual brand award of Lazada,an e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia,and was rated by Alibaba.com as a gold supplier and a sliver purchaser in Yiwu market by Yiwu Municipal Government.
2020
Supply Chain Upgrade
In 2020, Zhejiang Yixing Sports Goods Co., Ltd. was established in Pan'an, Zhejiang Province, and ROCKBROS supply chain base was established. In the same year, it won the Top50 of new forces and cutting-edge brands of global cross-border e-commerce.
2021
Digital Strategy
In 2021, ROCKBROS upgraded its strategy and established an Australian branch (Melbourne, Australia) to establish Zhejiang ROCKBROS Sports Goods Co.,Ltd.. in Pan'an. Hangzhou Qingyun Sports Goods Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Luoyi Information Technology Co., Ltd. were established, a digital center team was established, and the first phase of the company's global digital construction was started through strategic cooperation with Jikeyun team. In the same year, Zhejiang ROCKBROS Sports Goods Co.,Ltd., was established at 618 Danxi North road.
2022
ROAD TO SKY
ROCKBROS Group launched the premium ROAD TO SKY series, committed to delivering top-quality cycling gear.
2023
Qunature Launch
ROCKBROS Group launched the new brand Qunature, expanding into outdoor gear with products for all skill levels.
2024
Complete Bikes & Flagship Store
ROCKBROS Group entered bicycle manufacturing, enhancing its impact in the cycling industry.ROCKBROS Global First Flagship Store Opens in Hangzhou Huanglong Sports on May 9, 2024
2025
Brand Expansion Across the Globe
In 2025, we accelerated our global offline flagship store expansion. On January 15, we opened our flagship store in Yiwu, followed by the opening of our Japan flagship store on April 25. Throughout the year, more flagship brand stores continued to open in key markets, including New York on the U.S. East Coast, Los Angeles on the U.S. West Coast, Melbourne in Australia, and Heidelberg in Germany.
2026
Smart Manufacturing Leap — Building a Thriving Ecosystem Together
Driven by continuous innovation, IF × TAIPEI CYCLE received three prestigious design awards, marking breakthroughs in folding bike innovation. Powered by China’s intelligent manufacturing capabilities, our AI-powered customization model of “sell first, produce later” was launched, enabling a flexible supply chain with delivery in just three days.
As part of our global expansion strategy, new stores opened in Shanghai, China, Ecuador, Argentina, and Kazakhstan, bringing our worldwide retail network to 20 locations. The 13th Sichuan–Tibet Cycling Event attracted more than 800 participants. Through the Dream Team’s journey across Sichuan and Tibet, the spirit of exploration continues to inspire more young people to embrace courage, pursue their passions, and be true to themselves.
